Since Rénoclimat dropped heat pumps, LogisVert is the only door. Here is each measure and its amount, the capacity that counts (at -8°C, not nominal), and the deadlines.
LogisVert is Hydro-Québec's energy-efficiency program for residential customers. In 2026 it pays $50 per 1,000 BTU/h of heating capacity at -8°C for an ENERGY STAR certified heat pump, and $120 per 1,000 BTU/h if it is classified cold climate; $250 per 1,000 BTU/h to replace a geothermal heat pump and $750 per 1,000 BTU/h for a new geothermal system; $22,000 for a central thermal storage unit paired with a central heat pump ($15,000 for the storage alone); $1,500 for roof insulation with caulking; $250 for an induction range and $250 for a heat-pump dryer; $125 or $300 for a two-speed or variable-speed pool pump; $1,000 per kilowatt of solar panels, up to 40% of costs; 5% more when several measures are combined; $100 more per 1,000 BTU/h in multi-unit buildings in energy-insecure areas. Conditions: be a Hydro-Québec customer, use an RBQ-licensed contractor and apply within nine months of installation. Modest-income households can get a wall-mounted heat pump at no cost.

Aid is calculated on heating capacity at -8°C, not the nominal capacity printed on the box: an "18,000 BTU" wall unit often delivers only 12,000 to 15,000 at -8°C, and that figure, listed in Hydro-Québec's eligible-equipment list, sets the aid. Example: 12,000 BTU/h at -8°C gives $600 for a standard ENERGY STAR model and $1,440 for a cold-climate model; a 36,000 BTU/h central unit at -8°C, $1,800 or $4,320. Ask the installer for the capacity at -8°C and the model number before signing.
Apply online in Hydro-Québec's customer space within nine months of the installation date, with the itemized invoice (model, serial number, the installer's RBQ licence). Aid is set by the installation date: when Hydro-Québec revises its amounts, that date decides. Measures combine with each other with the 5% bonus, and with Rénoclimat on separate work (Rénoclimat for walls and windows, LogisVert for the heat pump). Modest-income households can obtain a wall-mounted heat pump at no cost through Hydro-Québec's dedicated stream.
On the South Shore, a recent central heat pump is one of the few pieces of equipment buyers pay for in the price: it appears on the listing, lowers the Hydro bill and replaces air conditioning.
