The five-year change: +26 % for a single-family home and +19 % for a condominium, which tells you where the sector sits in the Greater Montreal ranking, where five-year growth runs from +1 % in the Centre of Montreal to +59 % in Saint-Jérôme. The delay: 42 days for a house and 53 for a condo, which says who leads the negotiation, the seller under 30 days, the buyer above 45. The inventory: active single-family listings up 23 % on the year, which decides whether Lachine stays a seller's market through the fall of 2026.
