"Best" is not declared, it is proven: here is what a RE/MAX broker must be able to show you, and what we show.
The best RE/MAX broker in Montreal is recognized by five verifiable proofs: recent closed sales in your borough (the island runs from $525,000 in Montréal-Nord to $1,980,000 in the centre for the median house, from 24 to 89 days on market), detailed public reviews, an official RE/MAX ranking (not a self-proclaimed title), a written pricing method on comparable sales, and the network's warranties (Tranquilli-T, Intégri-T). The Loaa & Manseur team is the number 1 team of RE/MAX Platine in 2024 and 2025, the 15th RE/MAX team in Canada and in the top 50 worldwide in the official 2026 ranking, with 230 Google reviews at 4.9; our pages by borough, in English and French, show our figures before you call us.
RE/MAX has hundreds of brokers on the island of Montreal, spread across several independent franchises (Platine, du Cartier, Action, Alliance and others). The banner guarantees tools, training, a distribution network and protection programs; it does not guarantee that the broker knows your street. The right question is therefore: which RE/MAX broker sells, today, in my borough, at my price level, and can prove it? The island is not one market but nineteen: $525,000 and 24 days for the median house in Montréal-Nord, $1,980,000 and 64 days in the centre (Westmount, Outremont, Mount Royal, Hampstead), 28 days for a Villeray condo versus 89 in Ville-Marie, according to the APCIQ barometer for the second quarter of 2026.
Not "300 sales in Montreal": the addresses, the dates, the asking price and the sold price, in your sector and your range. A RE/MAX broker has access to the Centris history and can show it to you in five minutes; if they do not, it is because there are none.
A review that says "excellent service" says nothing; a review that tells the sale (the price obtained, the delay, what was resolved) says everything. Look at the number, the rating, the date and the content. Also verify the licence with the OACIQ: it is public, with sanctions if there are any.
RE/MAX publishes official rankings every year by team and by broker, in Quebec, in Canada and worldwide, on actual volume. "Broker of the year", "top 1%" or "best in Montreal" without a source are just words; ask for the ranking, the year and the scope.
The best broker does not "feel" the price: they build it on the comparable closed sales on your street, adjusted (lot, garage, condition, floor), and they hand you the document. In Montreal, the house sells at 97% of asking and the condo at 98% in September 2026 (Centris): a misplaced listing price costs weeks, and expired listings prove it.
The network offers protections that other banners do not, such as Tranquilli-T and Intégri-T (assistance and protection after the transaction, hidden defects under conditions). Ask what is included, what is optional and what is excluded, in writing.
Ask both the same five questions. The first one who shows you their sales in your sector, hands you their pricing method and tells you what their warranty excludes has already won the comparison; the commission comes after, because one percent of commission weighs less than a misplaced listing price. Our page best real estate broker in Montreal details the proofs to verify, all banners included.
The one who can prove recent closed sales in your borough and your price range, with detailed reviews, an official ranking, a written pricing method and explained warranties. No broker is the best everywhere on an island with nineteen markets.
They are independent franchises of the same banner, with the same tools and the same programs; the difference is in the team, its sector and its results, not in the franchise's name.
The commission is negotiable and set by each broker, not by the banner. Ours is 5% all inclusive for the seller, payable at the sale only.

The Loaa & Manseur team, led by Lotfi Manseur and Loaa Al Daow, is the number 1 team at RE/MAX Platine in 2024 and 2025, 6th RE/MAX team in Quebec, 15th in Canada and in the global top 50 of large residential teams according to the official RE/MAX ranking, computed on actual transactions. Its Google profile counts more than 220 reviews with a 4.9 rating. Its offices are at 55 avenue de l'Équinoxe in Brossard, one bridge from the island, and every broker's licence can be checked in the OACIQ public register. Three things to verify yourself before calling us, and to demand of any other broker.
