Centris (Matrix) Statistics module, queried on October 25, 2026 with the same parameters for each city: Single-family category, closed sales, median sale price and number of sales per year from 2016 to 2026 (2026 from January to September), with no criterion, with "Garage (number)" = 1 and = 2 or more. Fewer than 10 sales, or a median under 40% or over 250% of the median house: median left blank. The gap compares groups of houses (size, age, lot), not the value of a garage alone. Aggregates only.
Our other feature series:
Each series is recalculated from actual sales, aggregates only.
It pays back at resale mostly where it is rare and where double-garage houses are also bigger. Check your city's page, then have a broker on our team compare your house with sales of the same kind.
We publish the cities where single and double garage sales are numerous enough for reliable medians. A broker on our team can pull the same statistics for any area.
