Real estate broker · Saint-Lin-Laurentides · QPAREB Q2 2026 figures
The North Shore's cheapest sector, where prices rose 57% in five years and new construction competes with resale: the 2026 figures and how to sell and buy there.
In the Saint-Lin-Laurentides sector (with Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan, Saint-Esprit and the Nouvelle-Acadie municipalities), the median single-family home sold for $490,000 in Q2 2026 (+1% year over year, +57% in five years, the North Shore's second-strongest rise after Saint-Jérôme) in 33 days, with 91 active listings (+33%); condos are almost nonexistent. The market is a seller's under $590,000 (1.8 to 2.2 months of inventory), balanced between $590,000 and $710,000 (4.3 months) and a buyer's above (5.7 months). It is the North Shore's cheapest sector (regional median $600,000), $110,000 below the median, at the end of Highway 25: new single-family neighbourhoods bought by young families from Terrebonne, Mascouche and Laval who lack the budget of the near suburbs. We sell there to first-time buyers who compare with Saint-Jérôme and Lanaudière.

Saint-Lin-Laurentides, the main town, doubled its population in twenty years with new-house neighbourhoods between Route 335 and the Achigan River: that is where the volume is, at the median, and where the seller of a 2015 house competes with the builder in the next project. The old village and its older streets offer the entry level, below the median, with houses to renovate. Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan and Saint-Esprit, toward Highway 25 and Mascouche, line up country houses and hobby farms on large lots, at or above the median, with well and septic system to check. The good deals of 2026: 2010s resales listed more than 45 days against new projects, and the village's old houses.
Saint-Lin started from the lowest price of the northern suburbs and benefited from the extension of Highway 25 and remote work: young families who no longer buy in Terrebonne or Mascouche settled here, hence +57% in five years. At $490,000, the sector remains the North Shore's most affordable, and its house goes in a month under $590,000. What changes in 2026: supply rose by a third (91 listings) with new deliveries, and buyers compare resale with new. For a seller, that requires a price on the street's last three sales and a presentation that rivals new construction; for a buyer, it is the sector where you visit twice and negotiate the inspection.
