Buying a condo · Terrebonne · QPAREB Q2 2026 figures
In Terrebonne, the condo is often a townhouse with a garage in Lachenaie. Here are the 2026 prices, the sectors, what distinguishes a townhouse co-ownership from a tower, and what to read before offering.
Buying a condo in Terrebonne in 2026 mostly means buying a townhouse in divided co-ownership in Lachenaie or Urbanova: a $381,000 median in the second quarter (+5 % year over year, +47 % in five years), 36 days on market, 125 active listings, in a market where the seller still leads. Vieux-Terrebonne offers small buildings with character near Île-des-Moulins; the centre, three-storey buildings from the 1990s to 2010 near the station. The whole North Shore sells its condos for $370,000 in 38 days, with 848 listings (+40 %): the choice is coming back. The pre-approved buyer who reads the reserve fund (often thin in a recent townhouse project) has the advantage.
Terrebonne sold its condos for $381,000 in median in the second quarter of 2026, +5 % year over year, +47 % in five years, in 36 days, with 125 active listings: still a seller's market, but normalizing with the North Shore ($370,000, 38 days, 848 listings, +40 %). A Terrebonne condo is worth $100,000 less than one on the island ($483,000) and $47,000 less than one in Laval ($428,000), and it is often larger: a three-bedroom townhouse with garage and yard, in divided co-ownership with fees of $150 to $300 a month. The monthly picture is on the North Shore's August 2026 report.
| Condo (QPAREB, Q2 2026) | Median price | 1 year | 5 years | Days | Active listings |

| Mascouche (neighbour) | $362,250 | 4% | 50 % | 31 days | 94 |
| Repentigny (neighbour) | $334,200 | 0% | 46 % | 44 days | 142 |

Lachenaie and Urbanova (the planned neighbourhood near the hospital and the 640) concentrate the 2005 to 2025 townhouses: three bedrooms, garage, yard, low fees, and an often young reserve fund that must be read with the Bill 16 study. Vieux-Terrebonne offers a few small buildings and conversions with character, near the restaurants and Île-des-Moulins, more expensive per square foot. The centre and the station sector sell three-storey buildings from the 1990s to 2010, Terrebonne's condo entry level. La Plaine has few co-ownerships. Neighbouring Mascouche ($362,250, 31 days) and Repentigny ($334,200, 44 days) are the alternatives to compare.
New construction is the norm in Urbanova and Lachenaie: the developer's townhouses and four- to six-storey buildings, GCR warranty, taxes extra, GST eliminated up to a million for a first-time buyer, delivery in 6 to 18 months. The resale offers 5- to 20-year-old townhouses, immediate occupancy, a tax-included price, with the reserve fund as the point to check: a 12-unit syndicate with $15,000 in reserves at 15 years announces a special assessment for the roofs. For an equal budget, compare the new build taxes included and the resale; the resale often wins on the lot and fence already done. Our page on the certificate of location in Terrebonne (in French) explains the divided co-ownership case.
